Adding and Changing Billing & Payment Sources (VUMC Worktag, VU Poet #, and VA 99999#)

Users are charged and invoiced monthly based on services rendered.  All charges to users whether internal (VUMC) or external (non-VUMC) are be billed using the central billing system (iLab). Topaz-Elements generates monthly invoices for cage care days and animal orders. Topaz-Elements invoices are billed monthly via iLab to ensure that charges can be reviewed and posted to the General Ledger (G/L) in a timely manner. The importance of timely charging each month cannot be overstated; it allows for proper monitoring by users, administrators, and research management. It also facilitates proper accounting practices, timely error correction, allows for on-time filing of Final Status Reports (FSR) to sponsors, and reduces the need for retroactive cost transfers.
